WELCOME TO CZIMER'S:
John Czimer's sons, Richard Sr., Theodore,
Rudolph, and Arthur fostered the game meat
industry in the United States. In the
early 1970's, a store dedicated to game meats,
game birds and sea food was built east of
Lockport, IL. At that time Richard Jr.
returned from the service to join the family
to carry on the family tradition.
Food for the Chemically Sensitive:
Some fifty years ago Dr. Theron Randolph
visited Rich Sr. and Rudy at their store in
Chicago to discuss the different game meats
that were available. When the good doctor
had the meats tested for harmful residue,
the reports showed negative, which meant he
could recommend many game meats to his
patients as a food alternative to domestic
meats. Little did anyone know of the positive
ramifications the initial visit would have.
People with chemical sensitivities in food
appreciate the game animals which are not
raised with antibiotics, steroids or
hormones. Since the late l950's the Czimer
family pursued in expanding the choices of
game meats, game birds and sea foods to the
environmentally sensitive patients.
